Why should I become a member of Bconciergery and why are there a limited number of members?

Bconciergery has a mission to provide the best service on the market.

We put much greater emphasis on quality than quantity. To be able to guarantee the provision of impeccable services, discretion and the highest quality to our clients, Bconciergery limits the number of its members.

What type of service is provided by Bconciergery?

Any type of personal and professional assistance, including daily requirements, arranging travel, and any type of ticketing and restaurant reservations, and much more....

Bconciergery wants to free up your time by taking care of everything that you do not have the time to take care of yourself.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as “the General Conditions”) govern:

(i) the methods of taking out membership to Bconciergery;

(ii) the rights and obligations of the Parties relating to the organisation and representation by Bconciergery, the sale by third parties of services and products to its members; and

(iii) the use of the website www.bconciergery.com

The member States have read the General Conditions and have expressly indicated their consent with regard to them.

Bconciergery is the commercial name of the company Rif & Barents, 16 Avenue de Wendt, 1203 Geneva.

Bconciergery will be the commercial name of Rif&Barents

Bconciergery acts as a representative of suppliers that provide a direct or indirect service to the members of Bconciergery.

ARTICLE 1 : TERMINOLOGY

Member: means any person who has accepted the General Conditions and has registered with Bconciergery using the form available online.

Supplier: means any supplier of products or services from whom Bconciergery orders and confirms the product in the member’s name.

Service: Any requirements provided by a third party or by Bconciergery directly.

Advantage: Any advantage offered to the member by the supplier.

ARTICLE 2 : APPLICATION OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS

The General Conditions shall take precedence over all other documents (brochures, catalogues, etc.) issued by Bconciergery.

In the absence of express prior acceptance by Bconciergery, all other conditions laid down by the member shall not be binding on Bconciergery, irrespective of the time when it was brought to the latter’s knowledge.

The General Conditions are drafted in French, English and Dutch.

If Bconciergery does not invoke any of the provisions of the General Conditions, this cannot be interpreted as a waiver by it to invoke that provision at a later time.

If any of the Terms and Conditions is declared null and void, the other conditions shall remain fully in force and that condition shall apply to the extent allowed by law.

In their relations, the Parties agree upon electronic means of proof, for example, email and computer back-ups.

ARTICLE 3 : AMENDMENT OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Bconciergery reserves the right to change or amend these conditions without giving personal notice to the member and without the right for the latter to claim any compensation. It is up to the member periodically to check whether there are any changes relating to amendments to the General Conditions of Sale.

ARTICLE 4 : SERVICE

Bconciergery will offer the best bespoke concierge service to all of its private members.

All the requirements and the type of service required by the member will be discussed at the time of the membership signature.

The advantages provided by third parties will be listed on the Bconciergery website.

All the advantages will be continuously updated and reorganised with third parties to ensure that Bconciergery members always have access to the best possible advantages.

Bconciergery cannot be held responsible if advantages are not available or are no longer listed on the website.

ARTICLE 5 : TRAVEL

Bconciergery members are advised that Bconciergery is not a travel agency or a tour operator but an intermediary between the members and the supplier.

ARTICLE 6 : GAINING ACCESS TO BCONCIERGERY

Access to the Bconciergery service requires an annual or monthly subscription which represents membership to all the services provided by Bconciergery.

6.1 How to become a member

You can become a member by sending a written application to the following address: Rif & Barents, 16 Avenue de Wendt, 1203 Geneva, or by completing the form “Becoming a member” on the Bconciergery website.

On subscription, the future member will communicate his identity and his personal details.

Any changes to these must be notified immediately by the member.

Bconciergery has a minimum period of forty eight (48) hours to confirm the membership to Bconciergery.

Bconciergery reserves the right to accept or reject membership without having to give reasons.

Once Bconciergery has accepted the application form and granted membership, the member will become the holder of a personal account that may be accessed by a password on the site. The member may use the password to gain access to the whole of the site, benefit from all the advantages and confirm his membership.

The member assumes full responsibility for the use and conservation of his password and must ensure Bconciergery’s confidentiality.

If the password is lost or it is mistakenly communicated to a third party, the member must immediately inform Bconciergery, which will immediately shut down access to the site and allocate a new password.

6.2 Guarantee

By registering, the member guarantees that:
  • all personal or other information supplied is correct and may be verified by Bconciergery at any time;
  • he has the legal capacity to conclude agreements;
  • he is at least eighteen (18) years old.

The future member also guarantees that he has complete authority to use the credit card supplied and that the credit card is provisioned with sufficient funds to cover all the costs of the use of Bconciergery’s services.

Bconciergery guarantees that all credit card data will be kept confidential.

6.3 Price of membership

Depending on his/its status, the member must pay the following amounts:

• For a single person **

A subscription of €1,200 (one thousand two hundred euros) per year inclusive of tax, with payment by credit card (indication of acceptance of cards) or by bank transfer,

Or

A subscription of €120 (one hundred and twenty euros) per month inclusive of tax, with payment by debit card or bank card. The amounts will be debited on the 27th day of the month.

• For a couple**

A subscription of €1,600 (one thousand six hundred euros) per year inclusive of tax, with payment by credit card or bank card,

Or

A subscription of €155 (one hundred and fifty five euros) per month, exclusive of tax, with payment by debit card or credit card. The amounts will be debited on the 27th day of the month.

• For a company**

A price offer must be made according to the volume of subscriptions ordered. A subscription of [x euros] per year inclusive of tax, with payment by credit card or bank transfer,

Or

A subscription of €x (x euros) per month inclusive of tax, with payment by debit card or credit card. The amounts will be debited on the 27th day of the month.

Bconciergery reserves the right to amend the prices of its members at any time, but payment of the membership and the price shall remain the same as at the time of the member’s signature.

Bconciergery may depart from this article by making special or promotional offers.

Certain special services, such as the organisation of private events, travel itineraries or other services provided by Bconciergery will be subject to special prices and conditions.

*[??] A special agreement may be concluded between the two Parties for a membership price by adding an officially signed supplementary agreement. ** The price of membership may be indexed on each anniversary date of the signature of the membership, without notice being given.

6.4 Security

The Bconciergery website (www.bconcicergery.com) is controlled by one of the most powerful security systems. All bank transactions, payment by credit card are made secure by the payment centre Ogone which encrypts members’ personal data.

6.5 How to unsubscribe – How to subscribe for one year

During the first 30 days of the subscription the customer has the right of retractation and he can cancel his membership free of charge. For a monthly membership the delay will be 12 days.

After that delay, membership can be unsubscribed by sending Bconciergery a letter by recorded post with acknowledgement of receipt one (01) month before the date of expiry of the agreement, indicating the wish to unsubscribe and the reasons. If the member does not make use of this procedure, his membership will be renewed by tacit renewal for a further period of one (01) year.

6.6 How to unsubscribe for one month

Send an email to the address info@bconciergery.com five (05) days before the end of your agreement. If the member does not make use of this procedure, his membership will be renewed by tacit renewal for a further period of one (01) month. There will not be any reimbursement. If the member does not make payment within the periods agreed for the whole of the Bconciergery service or does not adhere to any of the General Conditions, Bconciergery may terminate the membership agreement without notice or compensation.

ARTICLE 7 : GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE SUPPLIER

The suppliers have their own terms and conditions. Please read carefully the Terms & Conditions on their websites if you are in doubt.

As an intermediary, Bconciergery does not apply the supplier’s Terms & Conditions.

Bconciergery will supply all the necessary information if a disagreement arises between a member and a supplier.

ARTICLE 8 : WAIVER

Cancellation of membership

Under article 80 of the Law of 14 July 1991, the member has the right to notify Bconciergery that he is cancelling his membership without penalty and without giving reasons within a period of seven (07) business days of the date on which the agreement is signed.

Where the period of seven (07) days expires on a weekend or a public holiday, it is extended to the next business day.

Cancellation of membership will give rise to total reimbursement of the amount of the subscription already paid by the member.

ARTICLE 9 : LIABILITY

The concierge acts as an intermediary and is bound only by an obligation to use specified agreed means.

Bconciergery cannot be held liable for its recommendations concerning the choice of a supplier.

Bconciergery cannot be held liable for damage of any kind to property or for personal injury that may result from a malfunction or the faulty use of the products sold by a supplier or offered by Bconciergery.

Only the supplier may be held liable.

Bconciergery’s liability will in all cases be limited to the amount of the subscription.

The member must send directly to the supplier concerned any claim for indemnification or any other claim relating to the product or the service ordered by Bconciergery.

An amicable solution will always be suggested by us to our supplier.

Bconciergery cannot be held liable for the non-performance of its obligations in an event of force majeure and in particular in the event of total or partial strike including by the postal services and/or the transport and/or communications systems, fire or breakdown of computer systems.

Bconciergery is not liable for any damage resulting from the use of the Internet network such as loss of data, data breach, virus, a breakdown in connection or any other problems outside Bconciergery’s control.

ARTICLE 10 : INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All texts, commentaries, works, illustrations and images, whether visual or audio, reproduced on the www.bconciergery.com site are protected by copyright, trade mark law and patent law worldwide.

They are all the full property of Bconciergery.

The Bconciergery website is reserved for private use. It cannot be used for commercial purposes by members or suppliers.

ARTICLE 11 : LAW APPLICABLE – COURTS WITH JURISDICTION

In the event of a disagreement, the member must contact Bconciergery to seek an amicable solution. Otherwise, any dispute as to the validity, interpretation or performance of the General Conditions shall be submitted to the Swiss courts to which exclusive jurisdiction is expressly attributed.

They are all the full property of Bconciergery.

The General Conditions written in English and Dutch will be executed and interpreted in accordance with Swiss law.

CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY

The member expressly authorises Bconciergery to carry out an analysis of his personal data and to use them solely for internal management purposes.

The phrase “Internal Management Objective” means the administration of members, the management of orders and deliveries, invoicing, the services, monitoring solvency, and personalised marketing and advertising.

Without your consent, we will not disclose or share or sell any information concerning you, such as email address, telephone number and other related numbers, demographic information or identity details.
